Charlotte, N.C. (March 20, 2016) - The 40th annual Rattler 250 at South Alabama Speedway attracts the biggest names in super late model racing and is a must see shot track event at the very beginning of each season. This would be Sargeant's 2nd Rattler 250, but would inevitably be 'snake bit' once again at the event. The No. 55 Windows 10 Toyota Camry was fast in each of the practice sessions before qualifying took place, taking a commanding position on each of the leaderboards. Although the team showed speed it didn't translate into a good qualifying effort with 21st, but Sargeant methodically made his way forward and with over 100 laps remaining he made his way into the top 5. With only 50 laps remaining Sargeant was battling for a position in the top 3 when something broke in the rear end, immediately losing positions and coming to pit road, ending the team's chances for a win.
"Well the Windows 10 team gave me a really good car in the race, we were one of the few cars that could really come through the field like we did. We had really good forward drive throughout the course of a run and it just made my job so much easier passing cars that were sliding around. Didn't have the luck on our side this weekend, broke a suspension piece that holds the rear end in place and that would be end of our day. We've got a good group of guys that work hard, we'll turn it around."
