Charlotte, N.C. (July 16, 2016) - The 50th running of the RedBud 300 is one of three crown jewels of the Champion Racing Association season, and this year's running was no different with the nations best super late model drivers in the field. Dalton Sargeant began the weekend with strong practice performances, consistently placing in the top 5 but wasn't bale to back up that speed in qualifying with the 12th fastest lap. A poor qualifying was the demise of the Bond Suss No. 55 Windows10 Toyota Camry as it was immediately involved in an accident on lap 52 ending the team's day.
"Well that was a quick end to a weekend we worked hard for, we just barely missed it in qualifying and this little bullring made us pay for it. I couldn't even see how it started, a big stackup infront of us and we were all checking up and someone behind us didn't get stopped in time, made contact with the wall, bounced off and hit us and that was it. You'll have days like these and its a estimate to these guys that Bond Suss has put together that this is the first and only day we've had like this. We will definitely rebound and run better."
