6/13 Berlin Raceway - CRA

Charlotte, N.C. (June 18, 2016) - The annual Battle at Berlin 251 pairs the best super late model drivers from the midwest and the southeast on a tight and tricky circular shaped racetrack.  Berlin Speedway was yet another new track for Dalton Sargeant and the Windows 10 Accelerate Motorsports Toyota Camry, and one of the biggest events the team had seen yet this season.  Thankfully Sargeant was able to quickly acclimate himself with the flat race track and surprised his competition with a 4th place qualifying effort.  The long 251-lap event would come to a disappointing end while competing in the top 3 with a punctured right front tire that Sargeant was able to keep off the wall and out of harms way.  The No. 55 team sprung into action changing the flat tire under green flag conditions and only losing 4 laps to the leaders.  Those 4 laps eventually turned to 1 lap down to the leaders at the finish with the 55 coming across the finish line in 13th position.

"We had a really fast Accelerate Motorsports Windows 10 Toyota Camry this weekend for the Berlin 251, and I've got to give my hats off to Bond Suss and the entire team for really bringing their A-game.  A completely new track for us was a little difficult but we worked really hard with the practice sessions and I tried hard ti improve and my team improved the car all weekend too.  Tough luck on the flat tire, I definitely ran over something on the track which basically ended our day.  I was impressed with the car that I was able to come through the field a few times and get 3 out of the 4 laps back throughout the rest of the race.  We'll stay positive and get our luck turned around."
